Even as a kid I’d make music with my toys and now that I’m grown (well, I think I am, lolol) producing music has become one of my favorite hobbies. One thing I’ve been struggling with lately though is guitar sounds, or maybe I should say, a lack of them. My stock on them is low so when I came across classic guitar effects I was so excited! It’s going to be a perfect add to my collection.

I just look at my house and the thought of moving freaks me out. There would be SO much to do. So much to move. Yes, I know there are companies out there that you can hire to do all of the heavy lifting for you, but not everybody has that kind of money, you know? Sometimes you have to rent yourself a moving truck and do it yourself.

Thankfully, at least right now *crosses fingers* I have no reason to move, but the same can’t be said for my next door neighbor who was recently relocated for work. Unlike me, they don’t have a complete household set up as he’s just a single guy, so the move shouldn’t be too painful but I could see that it was still a bit daunting for him, despite that fact.

I told him that I would be more than willing to help him, both secure a moving truck and as well as helping him pack and load everything. I can’t imagine having to do that, even if he has a relatively small house with few possessions, all alone. What a job!

The best part for him though – he’s going to be coming back. Yep, it’s only a semi-temporary move. His company told him that they will continue to pay for his current home that he’s moving out of (as well as his new one) as long as he was willing to relocate to help assist in the construction of a new business for two years. Pretty neat, right?

The 47-year-old actor was set to fly to the Pennsylvania town, where “The Office” takes place, for the show’s wrap party. The workplace comedy is set to end its run after nine seasons on May 16 with the series finale.

“So @USAirways just screwed me & half the cast of ‘The Office.’ Conctng flight left BEFORE departure time. Sorry Scranton won’t see u til tom,” Wilson Tweeted on May 3 at 2:39 pm PT.

In another Tweet, he wrote, “We’re being forced to rent cars and drive to Scranton from Philly. Does the CEO of @USAirways want to join us? I will fondle him angrily.”

“The plane was a 20 seater, missing 7 people who had obviously just landed & it leaves 10 minutes EARLY! @USAirways,” he Tweeted at 3:05 p.m. PT.

The actor later posted a screen grab from his iPhone showing a conversation between himself and someone from the airline who apologized for the situation.

So what does that teach you? Don’t mess with Rainn Wilson, lol.

As we’re sitting there, I see my friend looking up at some of the property on the bluffs and I can tell his brain is clicking. I ask him what he’s doing and he says “wouldn’t it be nice to own one of those?”.

Now, at first, I thought it was a bit weird for him of all people to say that but I agreed that it would be, and then out of nowhere he suggests that we should partner up and buy some Real Estate In Vero Beach. Now, at first I thought he was joking around with me but then I could tell he was serious. And in all honesty, it’s a really good idea.

The market is finally coming around so it’s a perfect time to invest in some property, especially in such a hot spot like Vero Beach. I assume he was thinking of us renting it out at the times we weren’t using it, but simply just having the property would be a gold mine as who doesn’t want to live in Vero Beach? I mean, seriously.

I’m going to have to press him to see just how serious he is, but, I think it might be a good move for both of us.

The show was mainly featuring food from specific locales around the country and one of the stops they made was in Miami, Florida. Now, the point of the show was about food but oh my gosh, some of the houses that they were at when they were filming where beautiful! They were also outside in a few neighborhoods almost doing a block party type event and the Miami oceanfront Real Estate that they were showing was simply jaw dropping. The sand was so white. The ocean was so teal. It was sunny and not a cloud in the sky. It literally looked like the postcard you see in airports.

After the show, I had to get online to check out some of the houses in the area – just out of the sake of curiosity and come to find out, they weren’t THAT expensive, which was a bit shocking. I mean, for some oceanfront property, you’d expect quite a mint but they were completely reasonable – so reasonable it almost made me want to go get some boxes and pack my things up so I could move there, haha.

Why, you ask?

Well, Netflix is going to yank 2,000 videos off of their site tonight as their “deal” with MGM, Warner Brothers and Universal came to an end and no new terms were agreed upon. And because no new agreement could be reached, Warner decided to make their own service which will now charge $10 dollars a month for their films – relatively pricey as streaming from NetFlix was only about $8 dollars a month and you recieved far more than just the films under the Warner brand. Still, it’s another hard blow to Netflix who has been struggling to keep subscribers.

The loss of the Warner Brothers brand comes just about a year after Netflix lost their deal with Starz, so it’s been a pretty big blow to their movie archive despite their continued price hikes – or at least – rumored price hikes.

Netflix says they will be adding more movies to replace the lost films, though, I’m not sure that’ll be enough to change the opinion of people currently riding the fence on if they should sign up or not.

He’s been looking for years now – I’d often joke with him that by the time he decided he’d no longer need the vacation home, lol, but he has apparently came to the conclusion that he’s going to be using Vero Beach Realty and picking up a house in that area. I personally think it’s a great idea because the locale is great and will always be in demand so if he at some point decides he no longer wants that vacation home, wants to rent it out or simply just wants to sell, it’ll always be in demand. Real estate is as much an investment as it is a place to live and/or vacation, depending on your use for that property.

I know he has a few homes he’s looking at right now so maybe I can get him to send me some info and pictures of the properties and I can check them out – maybe give him a bit of advice, lol. Not that I’m any more knowledgeable than he is when it comes to real estate, but, I’m just curious as to what they look like!

Well, actually she texted me – but the text was for my girlfriend, lol, who just about ripped my arm off when she went to reply to my Sister.

As many of you know, my girlfriend considers herself a bit of a “fashionista” so any chance she gets to talk about clothing – she’s all over it.

Apparently, my Sister, who is in town as I said for business was looking for some cheap club dresses as she’s going to have a few days and nights in town where she doesn’t have anything to do. Pretty nice business trip, if I do say so myself. The company that she works for, almost anytime they send anybody on business travel – they also pay for two or three extra days, assuming the person wants it. Last time she had to go to Oklahoma City and opted to not use up those extra offered days, lol.

Anyway – hopefully she finds the dresses shes wanting. I know my girlfriend sent her to a wonderful store and she has great taste, so I’m sure all will work out just fine. And I’m sure I’ll hear about it between one of those two, at some point, haha.

I mean honestly – think about it. Think about the last time you either received something for free or were at a place where something was being given away for free. Think about the ruckus it created. People were rushing to get whatever that free item was. Maybe it was a scoop of ice cream. Maybe it was a key chain. Maybe it was a yo-yo. People love free things, which is why it’s so important if you’re a business to use promotional products at Goimprints.com to get your message across. It’s one of the best and cheapest ways to advertise. I don’t know why so many companies underestimate it, but don’t – it works!
